Ulnar Deviation

An ulnar deviation drill built around moving the wrist toward the little-finger side while the forearm stays still.

Tool: Flex Bar

Benefits:

Daily: More stable little-finger-side wrist adjustment
- Training: Practice controlled ulnar deviation and wrist stability
- Comfort: Small range with a steady forearm helps reduce rotational compensation

How to:

Set Up: Grip the bar, keep the forearm steady, and start with the wrist neutral.
Do: Keep the forearm still → move the hand toward the little-finger side from the wrist → stop in a comfortable range → return slowly to neutral.

Equivalent logic:

The bar acts as a lever; the movement comes from side-bending at the wrist, not forearm rotation.

Safety: Stop for sharp pain/numbness/tingling; do not force end range; return slowly and stay controlled.
Note: The range can be small—keep the forearm from rotating.
